For one year only, the organisers of Wimborne Minster Folk Festival take on running Wimborne Buskers Bash. The previous organisers are only "taking a year off", so don't fret, they'll be back.
The festival committee have stepped up to the task of organising the one day busking event, that uses locations around the town to allow musicians to gain your vote, by using a token system that will get them through to the final - held on Wimborne Square the same evening.

We are looking for vibrant people to be part of the festival team who are prepared to work in shifts over the three day festival.
Every year, the festival relies on volunteer stewards to help make the festival happen, we really couldn't do it without you! In exchange for your time, you will get festival tickets to Wimborne Minster Folk Festival concerts, comedy and ceilidhs and also tickets to Party In The Paddock, plus free parking, camping and souvenir programme.

Introducing a night of Comedy to this year's folk festival comes with great pleasure, and we are thrilled to welcome Welsh comedian Noel James. Joining Noel is resident comic-folk-band of the festival, Polly Morris, who will take you on a whirlwind trip of supermarket shopping and the perils of e-mail.
