A Half of Murphy's
A Half of Murphy's consists of Noeleen and Alex who are literally half of Bournemouth based ceilidh band Murphy's Lore.
One half of roots duo Hummingbird & the Crow, frontman for Motown function band Gentlemen Groove and the writer behind now defunct Dorset band Fearne.
Born in Portsmouth, Andrew Foster grew up in the small market town of Havant on the South Coast of England.
A self taught Weissenborn recording artist who has established himself as one of the shining lights within the small Weissenborn playing community.
Ben Wedlake & Dan Booth
We are Ben and Dan, a vocal and guitar duo who love rockin' out on stage and having fun.
Bill Hesp is a musician who is known locally on the folk club circuit.
Black Sheep are Dorset's most popular Barn Dance Band / Ceilidh Band and they have been performing in Dorset and beyond for more than 30 years.
Some years ago he swapped his Stratocaster for an acoustic and these days is regularly seen on the Dorset folk club scene and open mic circuit.
Bournemouth Youth Marching Band
An award winning traditional youth marching band based in Bournemouth who perform a range of great music from different genres in a traditional style.
Bryony Griffith is an English fiddle player and singer from Huddersfield in West Yorkshire with a rich repertoire of English dance tunes and songs.
Carolan & Don
Carolan & Don are local to Dorset and will be performing together at the Model Town on the Saturday of the folk festival.
Cécile is a singer-songwriter based in Bristol, singing in both French and English with a voice that silences rooms.
Delphis are a duo who have won local music competitions.
Dorset Youth Marching Band
The Dorset Youth Marching Band originated in 1970 as the East Dorset Scout Band.
EdwardAlice are an exciting folk/pop acoustic quartet based in Cambridge.
A three piece contemporary English folk band from Hampshire, producing a very earthy traditional sound with a modern approach to folk song writing.
Emma-Jane Toop is an 18 year old singer/songwriter from Dorset and has been seen on the BBC Live Loung - BBC Radio Solent.
EMMAY are a sibling trio that will be taking to the stage at this year's Wimborne Minster Folk Festival.
