Wimborne was buzzing with family fun at debut festival

10 June 2013 by James

The beautiful town of Wimborne Minster in Dorset, bathed in summer sunshine, was buzzing with people of all ages enjoying great music, dance, workshops and family fun.

Our concerts at the Allendale Centre were a triumph, including the Albion Band, Blair Dunlop, the Carrivick Sisters, Gilmore & Roberts and ColvinQuarmby.

Around fifty dance groups came to town in all their multi-coloured splendour, showcasing Morris, Appalachian and even street dance.

Workshops at the Community Learning and Resource Centre (CLaRC) were a hive of activity and our children's area on Willow Walk was a big hit with families.

The committee would like to thank everyone who helped make it happen. We're already planning how to make next year even better!
