Barley Rye Choir
Barley Rye is a community choir from Somerset, singing local folk songs, songs with a "Summer" theme and songs they sang as children
Barley Rye Folk Choir formed in 2000 as a millennium project for Nailsea Folk Club and is now a performing group with a membership of over 20. The group is led by Keith Burrows and has a repertoire of original harmony arrangements of traditional folk songs – many of which come from the local area. The choir performs regularly at festivals and other events – singing songs and performing our puppet mummers’ plays.
