The Queens Gurkha Signals are based at Blandford. They, and members of their families, perform traditional Nepalese dances.
Coming on Saturday
Gurkhas have served the British Crown for over 200 years. They come from Nepal, a country with a rich cultural heritage, including traditional dances. Some of their dances use the traditional Gurkha kukri knife, while others use red handkerchiefs to emphasise the arm movements. Members of their families also perform Nepalese dances.
