The Queens Gurkha Signals are based at Blandford. A highly respected part of the British Army, they perform traditional Nepalese dances.
Coming on Saturday
Gurkhas have served the British Crown for over 200 years. They come from Nepal, a country with a rich cultural heritage, including traditional dances. Some of their dances use the traditional Gurkha kukri knife, while others use red handkerchiefs to emphasise the arm movements.
