Terry McDonald is a folk singer in the true sense of the word. A keen historian he often explains the background to the songs before his performances. His distinctive guitar style is born of experience and he sings a large range of traditional songs from the well known writers to those that the listener is yet to discover. Terry McDonald has released several albums often assisted by his son, multi-instrumentalist - Phil McDonald. At Wimborne Minster Folk Festival he will be joined, for some songs, by the flautist Crispin Street.
