Having been singing for 16 years and singing professionally for 6 years, Beth Williams is an English female folk-rock singer-songwriter based in Southampton. Beginning her career as a solo vocalist and acoustic guitarist, she's had the opportunity to perform at notable venues such as The Joiners and Heartbreakers for support slots and headline shows. Her powerful vocal and raw, storytelling song writing style makes for explosive performances and creates a unique sound. Her music invokes the sounds of Amy Macdonald and Kirsty MacColl and she takes great influence from artists such as Frank Turner and Lucy Spraggan with her performance and writing styles. Since releasing her debut single ‘Revolution’ she’s been hard at work writing with her newly formed band The Sunset Haze of whom she performs with for studio work and for most live shows consisting of Jack Heustice (electric guitar and backing vocals), Andy Millar (bass), Lauryn Hunt (keys and backing vocals) and Tom Jones (drums). She’s now solely working with the band of whom she’s currently writing and recording with and looking to release music in the next year which you’ll be able to find on Spotify, iTunes and Soundcloud.
